“Visions of Hope- Cancer Journeys Reflecting Inspiration and Hope”, created by Susan Hope Schaffer, and a special sister show “Voices of the Journey – Art By and For Cancer Survivors”, will be opening at Summit Medical Group on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 5:00-8:00PM at the Lawrence Pavilion 1st floor exhibit area and Café conference center at Summit Medical Group’s main campus, 1 Diamond Hill Road in Berkeley Heights.
This art exhibit, which is supported by Summit Medical Group/ MD Anderson Cancer Center, features the work of 14 artists who present their hopeful struggles with cancer in various mediums, including paint, pastels, photography, sculpture and textiles. Selections of artwork will also be on loan from Lilly Oncology on Canvas, a partnership between Lilly Oncology and The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship.
A portion of the proceeds of the sale of any artwork will be donated to Pathways Women’s Cancer Support in Summit, New Jersey. Refreshments and live music will be provided, and the reception is free and open to the public. Exhibit will be running through the summer.
