How to Use:

Artwork: Before you enter any information into the Input Form, make sure that your artwork has been prepared in digital format to meet the following criteria:

• You will need two sizes for each piece of digital art. You can either scan your art using a scanner, or take a digital picture, and save it with a logical name. If you are planning to submit multiple images, give them names such as your organization name1.jpg and your organization name2.jpg.
• The larger image should not be more than 350 pixels wide and 250 pixels high, or if it is a vertical layout, then 300 pixels wide and 350 pixels high. You can scale your image to size, using any image editing software, such as Photoshop. Your digital camera probably came with such a software package. The smaller image (should be 150 pixels wide) should have the same name as the large one with an -SM added. For example: your organization name1-SM.jpg.

Written Work: For written work, our preference is that you preformat your work (without author name) and then save it as a pdf file using an Adobe software package. If you are not able to create the pdf file, then submit the work as a Word document, and we will create the pdf file for you.

Complete the online form. (The form you first access is the one for digital art. If you have a written piece, go to the top of the form and click on link for Written Work).

• Fill in the name of the person submitting the work. (Your name is added for tracking purposes only. It will not display.)
• For organizational submission, fill in organization name.
• For student work, fill in school name.
• Using the dropbox, classify the artist by grade level for students, or professional/non-professional for adults
• Enter town or city
• Using dropbox, enter your county
• If you or your organization has a website, you may optionally enter the URL here. Do NOT enter http://
• Using the dropbox, select the medium represented by this work. If it does not exist on the list, select NEW and type in the medium you want. It will get added to the dropbox.
• Enter artist/writer last name. For students, you have the option of only entering an initial.
• Enter artist/writer first name.
• Enter a title for the work.
• There is space for a description or caption about the work, but it is limited to 200 characters (that includes spaces).
• Finally, upload your large image by clicking the Browse button, and finding the image on your computer.

Click the Save button.

A proof page is displayed for you to review your entry and either choose Go Back to make changes or Continue to save. Note: The image on the proof page is just a sample - it is not your image.

Add the name of the small image on the next page. Remember that you must just add -SM to the large image name in order for the small image to display properly.

Now click on Load Info and your submission is complete.

Note: Your submission will first go through an ArtPRIDE approval step prior to appearing on the Gallery display.
